I am an experienced psychotherapist and work with adolescents, adults, individuals and families. Some of the most common concerns of my clients include depression, anxiety, loss, divorce, trauma, transitioning issues, coming out and parenting challenges. I have extensive experience in working with adolescents and their families who are in crisis and need a safe environment to find resolution.
My emphasis is on helping clients change destructive behaviors and thinking patterns that prevent them from building and maintaining positive and lasting relationships. Achieving change is a process, and the core of good therapy is based on the counselor building a relationship of trust, empathy and respect with the client.
I use a variety of treatment strategies in my work including psychodynamic therapy, family systems therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness based cognitive therapy.

What Inspires Me
The Bee
The symbolism of the bee is a powerful reflection of their lives and the numerous myths this insect has inspired throughout history. According to ancient mythological tales, bees purify and strengthen the soul. They elevate us to the rank of civilization-building heroes, nurturing harmony amongst men with their knowledge and the powerful acts they accomplish despite their small demeanor.
The bee’s life lessons
