On this auspicious full moon weekend, we reflect on the promise of spring, of peace in our world, of spiritual connection with the Divine, and of rebirth and renewal.

Our April moon this year coincides with celebrations of religious holidays from various traditions, including the Pink Moon (Native American), the Pesach or Passover Moon (Jewish), the Holy Month of Ramadan (Islam), Easter (Christian), Hanuman Jayanti, Lord Hanuman’s birthday (Hindu), and Bak Poya (Buddhist), commemorating how Lord Buddha averted war by resolving conflict between chiefs in Sri Lanka.

It feels significant that during this time of war in Ukraine, we have the alignment of spiritual intention in our world religions.

All of us at Karuna wish our human family peace and renewed life this spring.
